Making Ten

One of our activities today was about "making ten".  Everyone made a tower of 10 linking cubes. Each tower had to have ten of the same coloured cubes. Then each person sat with a partner who had
a different coloured tower. We practiced trading one cube at a time --- until we had all of our partner's cubes. Each time we traded, we made a note on our chart about how many of our own blocks we had and how many of our partner's blocks we made. Even though the numbers kept changing, we noticed that it still made TEN every time!

Sharing Time......

Everyone brought home an important note about our upcoming Field Trip. Please read, complete, and return the yellow permission form.
