We went on an adventure! We used the iPads (with an app called i-nigma) to scan the QR codes that were already placed on the walls around the hallway. We scanned the first one that was labeled "START" and it brought up a math word problem. We had to read the problem, then search around the hallways looking for another pink paper with the correct answer. When we found it, we scanned THAT paper, and got a new math word problem to solve. Then so on, and so on… until we got to the last one that said "YOU ARE DONE - GOOD JOB"
An example of one of the word problems was…. "Four boys and five girls were playing at the park. How many children were there at the park?"
Our day just flew by…..NOT everyone got a chance to try it today, but they'll get an opportunity tomorrow.
Room 7 would like to wish Mrs. Grant's Auntie in Texas a very Happy Birthday!! We hope she had a nice day yesterday! She is a faithful reader of our blog and reads it every day!! We would also like to thank her for the comments she leaves us every now and then! We like reading them and responding to them!

I was so impressed with you all today using the QR codes. I saw lots of kids working together and you were all very focused! You can teach me now how to do it! I was bragging about all of you kinders and telling them how awesome you are with the iPads! Well done!
