As part of our Science curriculum, we have been learning about colours! We had read the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear one day. Then, everyone had a chance to paint a picture of one of the animals in the story.... then cut it out after it dried.... then write a sentence to tell about their picture. (ie. "I see a red bird looking at me."). Then we put them all together in the correct order to retell the story!
Today we created new colours. We learned that when we add black to a colour, we get a darker shade of that colour!....Looks like there are lots of patterns being made at centre time!....
Beautiful painting and patterns! I love all the shamrocks. - H's mom
