The leprechaun left us a note.... and some of his magic powder with a green liquid. We had to mix it up for a couple minutes and say the magical leprechaun words... and then the magic powder changed into a special treat!
This afternoon we sorted some fruit loops by colour -onto the rainbow. (Each person had their own bag of cereal.) A good fine motor skill to help strengthen those little finger muscles!
Then after making a rainbow, we made a fruit loop necklace!
We also used the little muscles in our fingers to pinch, squeeze, and roll this yellow ball of modelling clay. After a minute, we noticed some blue appearing in the ball. Then we kept squeezing and pinching.. and the ball turned into a green colour!!
Some kids made some traps to try and catch the leprechauns....
Parachute fun at gym time!
Wow! I cant believe a leprechaun came to visit room 9! That is very lucky!
ReplyDeleteMya had an amazing St.Patrick’s day! But she wasn’t a fan of the magic powder lol
