Library Day

Racing around the shamrock!

                                            Library Day today!  Everyone who had returned their library book was able to choose a new book today. Thank you, Mr. Wesselius, for reading us a story!

Some kinders had a chance to try this activity today. They had to pick a picture with a leprechaun, and then say the word, then s-t-r-e-t-ch it out slowly, then record the sounds they heard in the word. We are listening carefully for which vowel is in the middle, as well as the first and last consonant sounds. They matched the number that the leprechaun was holding to the number on their paper.
