2 Stars of the Week

Our Star of the Week.... told us lots about himself. He even did a short Tae Kwon Do demonstration for us!

He explained that these were some of the moves in the patterns he learned. He even taught our class a couple things.  We were very proud of him to learn he won a gold medal in Tae Kwon Do!
This was our Star of the Week before Christmas. Don't think we posted her picture during that busy last week of school, so we wanted to share it now.

We have spent the past four months learning all about numbers! Today we practiced our fine motor skills when we cut out 31 little squares with a number in each one. Then we sorted them, and put them in order from 1 - 31 to make our own individual January calendar.  Everyone did a terrific job demonstrating what they had learned about numbers and calendars!

An interesting structure built with the foam blocks. Good team work skills were in use!

  1. WELCOME BACK!!! Did you have a great Christmas vacation? CONGRATULATIONS to the boy who won the gold medal in Tae Kwon Do. That's awesome! Good job on making your own January calendar.
The blog reader in Texas missed your blog while you were on vacation.

  2. Thanks for the comment! We all had a nice Christmas holiday. We all liked our gifts! The Tae Kwan Do boy says "Thank you!".
We are glad to be back at school
