One of the skills we learn in Kindergarten is to "subitize".... which means you can quickly identify "how many" objects in a set - without counting. Today our helper was rolling the die on the Smart Board to find the side that had 4 dots. We can practice subitizing when we play games with dice or playing dominoes or creating small sets of objects.
