Letter Factory

  
This afternoon we had a special activity with all 3  Kinder classes. We were all invited to a special showing of "The Letter Factory". We each had our ticket to get into the show.There was an intermission, and then everyone used their "food" ticket to get some popcorn, juice, and a Tim Bit. After a little break, we watched the rest of the show (the whole show was about 35 minutes long, but the intermission made the experience stretch out.) Ask your child 
to tell you all about it!
  

   



    
After the show, we returned to our class. These girls were using their knowledge of letters to match the letters of the alphabet on the Leap Frog toy.
 

• We had such a busy day, and a bit of a different routine, that we forgot to do Sharing Time. I am surprised no one reminded me before the end of the day. The kids who were supposed to share something orange today are welcome to bring their orange item back to school on Monday.
• I forgot to send home the November reading chart. When you get it on Monday, feel free to record the books that you read over the weekend.
• October reading charts are due on Monday, the 3rd.
• A BIG THANK YOU to Journey, David, and Eva's families for sending in treats for our Halloween party yesterday. The kids very much appreciated all the treats!! They even enjoyed the leftover cookies and muffins today!
• Picture retakes are next Thursday, the 7th, if you want retakes done for your child.
• Scholastic Book Orders are due on Thursday.
• There is NO SCHOOL next Friday, the 8th. Teachers will be working on Report Cards on that day.
