Thankful
Today we talked about what we know about "Thanksgiving". The first response was... "We eat food!" We learned what the word "thankful" means, and everyone tried to think of something that he/she was thankful for. Then we copied these ideas onto "feathers" to make a big turkey!
Turkey math.....
...using diamonds to create a pattern!
We coloured coffee papers for a special activity... and then
......we sprayed water on our coloured coffee filters.... (and we'll finish the project tomorrow!)
Marble race fun!
Mrs. Lowe stopped by to talk to us about "helpers". Who do we know that can help us at school?... at home?
Sharing time... something green!

GOBBLE!! GOBBLE!!, Happy Thanksgiving from Texas. I am so thankful for Mrs. Grant and all of you that I am able to enjoy your blog. I love the coloured coffee filters. Can't wait to see the end results. The girl did an amazing job with the diamond pattern. Nice going to the girl with the numbered turkeys and the coloured feathers.
ReplyDeleteHi. Thank you. We all had a nice Thanksgiving! WE had fun playing the fun thanksgiving turkey games at school.
