Today we read a story called "Going on a Leaf Hunt". We saw different kinds of leaves and trees in the story. We also went on a little leaf hunt of our own in the classroom.... as we tried to use our little nets to catch the colourful fall leaves that were blowing out of this musical tree!!! There were lots of giggles and smiles!!! :)
We also used our fine-motor skills to cut apart 4 pictures that got mixed up on the paper. Then we had to use our thinking skills to put them in the correct sequence to tell the story of a child who got a rake from her mom and helped rake up the leaves.
This week we are taking turns bringing something to school that is red!! These students did a good job telling us about their red item, and responding to questions.
