pom-pom cupcakes


We used big tweezers to pick up pom-poms and put the correct number into the cupcake paper (to correspond to the numeral on the cupcake paper). 
We are learning to....
  • match quantity to numbers ... recognize numbers
  • count with 1 to 1 correspondence
  • strengthen the small muscles in our fingers to help develop our fine-motor (ie. writing) skills
  • identify which cupcake has "more"..."less"....the "most".. the "least"
  • arrange amounts in sequence from smallest amount to greatest amount 
  
feeding the baby at the birthday party!
