Pattern problem solving & painting

We watched a few short video clips that presented a problem. An animal had to cross the bridge to get to the other side and eat the berries!  But the bridge wasn't finished!  So....The students had to copy the completed portion of the bridge using coloured tiles, then continue the pattern to get across the lake!!

Ms. Claudia Evans-Menard was back for her third and final visit with our class. She showed us how to add some accenting colours onto our paintings to create the northern lights. You will get to see the finished products on display next week on Thursday during Open House!! Come anytime between 4:30-7:00 to visit your child's class, and celebrate all that the students have learned this first term!  So hard to believe that the first quarter of the year is done!! How did that happen???

About the artist:   You can check out some of Ms. Claudia Evans-Menard's work at the studio (Studio 647 located on Princess Street in Winnipeg) or follow her on Instagram -  cdem58

The book fair will be held during the Open House next week.
