Peace

Pretending & using our imagination at centre time!

We read another book about Peace. We have been thinking of Remembrance Day in terms of peace and war. We brainstormed some ideas of how peace looks to us. (What makes our hearts happy, and what could make other people's heart happy?) Here is what the class came up with!

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. (This includes ensuring your child wears a touque/hat and warms mittens. Once the temperarture drops to 0 degrees Celsius and lower, those little mini-gloves are not keeping hands warm. Please consider getting your child a pair of warm, waterproof mittens, or put strings on them that go through their sleeves. Don't forget to label them with your child's name.) Students go outside 3 times a day to get some fresh air and exercise and to have some outdoor fun!! This includes touching the snow, and no one wants wet/cold  hands!!!

Remembrance Day Service tomorrow at our school at 11:00 AM. All families are welcome to join us.
