Wednesday fun

What do you notice here? Do you wonder anything? How many tiles do you estimate there are all together?

Now the challenge... sort the coloured tiles - the rule is "sort according to colour"
  
Now graph the tiles -- first by putting them on the graph paper, then making your own copy by colouring the correct amount of squares according to how many of each coloured tiles there was.
   
We have been learning about patterns in Kindergarten. Sometimes we use our bodies and actions to make patterns, too. Here the kids were being creative--- making their own patterns.
 
Some of the kids learned how to play "GO FISH" today (with a deck of snowman cards). They had lots of fun! Try playing at home, too!
 
Centre time fun... making letters/numbers out of the sticks and curves from the light table!
