3 Billy Goats Gruff

Our mission today involved the fairytale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. What a silly story. We decided it must be fiction - but still fun to read! It was a lot of fun acting out the story, too!!

Trying to design and build a very strong bridge.... hmmmm....

The pennies represent people.... this bridge held 5 people before it collapsed!!

This bridge used paper that was folded accordion style.... and it held over 100 "penny people"!

Earth Day Bingo

Today our special mission was to identify all the pictures on the earth day picture page... then choose 16 out of the 24 to cut and paste onto our own bingo card... and then play BINGO!

Spy decoder necklace

Our special mission today was to create a "spy decoder necklace" out of coloured cereal .... and create a pattern at the same time!   These students accepted the challenge and were able to make a pattern!!

Egg-stra special mission

      The Star of the Week was excited to share her "All About Me" poster with everyone today. And we had such a busy week last week that I forgot to post this picture of the Star of the Week from last week. He was also excited to tell us all about himself. (Sorry about that)

 

Today we had a special spy mission that involved an EGG!!  We had to do some critical thinking, and ponder some questions from our mission. Along the way, we also learned the nursery rhyme "Humpty Dumpty".
