A colourful day

We are thinking in colour around here! Today during centre time, some of the kids called me to take a picture of what they had done to the lego.... they had sorted it into the primary and secondary colours, they said!  and they even put it in order (counter-clockwise) according to the order of the colours in the rainbow!

These boys were playing with the piggy bank that had numbered coins. They put the coins in order from 1 -10, then they told me what the core of the pattern was!!
We experimented mixing different colours of water with the primary colours -- to make new colours.... you know....the secondary colours!!

We also each took a couple different colours of modelling clay, and mixed them together to get a new colour!

This young lady wanted me to check our the letter /F/ she made with lego.
 Sharing Time....
