Remembrance Day Assembly

Two representatives from each class pinned a poppy on a wreath during the Remembrance Day assembly today.

The Grade 3-5 choir sang a couple songs.

The K-2 classes had also prepared a song to sing.

We did some action patterns today..... like..... A-B-A-B-A-B-A-B    and..... A-A-B-B-B.........and -A-A-B-B-C-C.  The kids like taking turns deciding what action to do for each part of the pattern!

Library Day today.... Reminder to please return all library books on or before next Day 4.  (Day 4 is our new library day!)

BOOK ORDERS DUE TOMORROW!

We had one person do Sharing Time today, but he didn't want his picture taken.

It is great that kids are bringing something from home to show and tell their classmates!  I have seen the confidence grow in a lot of the kids already. Public speaking skills are an important life skill to have! The language opportunities are tremendous. The class is also doing a great job being a respectful audience when their peers are speaking.
**** Please be advised that students are responsible for their own sharing item. Sharing items are supposed to be kept in backpacks until we do Sharing Time. Please do not send any items that are valuable. Thank you!
