Baking cupcakes for our Party!

Our Star of the Week!!  He enjoyed telling us all about himself!

As part of our Birthday Party centre, we made cupcakes today!  Every party needs cake or cupcakes (as least that's what our class decided!)

This is what the kids came up with when we brainstormed what we needed to make cupcakes.

Time to put them in the oven. After the kids checked the box to see how long we should bake our cupcakes, we took them to the Life Skills room to bake them. We stayed there to monitor our cupcakes and make sure we heard the timer and so they didn't burn! The kids had fun in the Life Skills room playing lego, reading books, and checking out the tilting chair.

Ta da!!  Our cupcakes smelled yummy when Mrs. Grant took them out of the oven. Now we had to wait until they cooled so we could put icing on them!

  • EARLY DISMISSAL tomorrow. All students dismissed at 3:10 PM. See you then!
  • This Thursday is Open House at Stevenson. Families are welcome to come to school anytime between 4:30 - 7:00. No appointments needed. This is an opportunity for the kids to show you what they have been learning at school. Please bring your child to school and celebrate their learning! (see the note that was sent home last week for more details)
  • Our Winter concert is on December 12th!

  2. Hi! The cupcakes were yummy! We had fun baking them! And it was fun decorating them, too! Mrs. Grant said that some body make that apron for her, and we guessed that it was from her aunty!! She said we were right! Thank you for the compliment and the comment!!
