How to draw a bear

Today we learned how to draw a teddy bear. At first, many students were quite anxious and worried that they wouldn't be able to do this activity when Mrs. Grant said we were going to draw a bear!
First, we watched a short video that had step-by-step instructions on how to draw a teddy bear. We got out our clipboards and paper and followed along… step by step. We were quite impressed with our drawings when we were done!
Then we painted our bears using watercolour paints. We had to be careful to hold the paintbrush carefully - and not push really hard on it!

Not everyone had time to paint their bear today, but this was one of the finished teddy bear drawings!
Our "Star of the Week". We really enjoyed his photos and stories about his photos. We especially liked his photo from when he lived in the Phillipines, and he was holding a snake! And he said he wasn't even scared!

  2. You did it Ethan M.! Good job! Me and your daddy are so proud of you. Thank you Room 7 and Mrs. Grant for enjoying Ethan's photos and stories. I was also shock back then when Ethan asked me if he could take pictures with those snakes but I allowed himbecause those were safe snakes, friendly snakes as what the zoo tourguide told us. But I did not take pictures with those snakes,im scared of it! Hahaha! Again, thank you room 7 and enjoy the rest of the day :-)

We think Ethan did a good job for Star of the Week. Some of us would like to hold a snake, too!
