Paper & turtles

What is made of paper?  We looked around our room and discovered a variety of things that are made from paper. Then we checked out some random things that Mrs. Grant had put on our tables.... and discovered different kinds of paper and many things that were made of paper that we didn't even realize were made of paper. Then we talked about some characteristics of paper.... and sorted some things into different groups. Some of the vocabulary we used today included....

Manitoba Museum

What an exciting day the Kindergarten classes had at the Manitoba Museum today!!  We learned a lot at the Planetarium, played in the Science Gallery, and dug for dinosaur bones when we checked out the Dinosaur and Fossil exhibit!  A busy and fun day for all! Here's a peek into our day!
