We started out our morning with a school wide assembly in the gym. The Kindergarten Class did a special performance that they had been practicing with Ms. Remple.
Here's a sneak peek of part of their performance.....
The mascot from Boston Pizza came to our school to present a cheque for $150.00 -- to thank us for all the reading logs that have been collected over the past few months. The money will be used to buy more books for our library. Everyone was encouraged to keep reading! Students who read the specified number of books/minutes for their grade can earn a coupon for a free Boston Pizza kids meal each month!
