This afternoon we went for a walk in our community. We were looking forwards to a visit to the local Public Library. Here we go!
We saw a couple homes along the way that belonged to our classmates.
At the library, the librarian told us about the different sections of the Kid's part of the library. She pointed out the fiction and non-fiction, and special interest areas, too.
We went to a special activity room where the librarian read us the story Peanut Butter & Cupcakes by Terry Border. We really enjoyed the story!
Lori (the Librarian) told us all about a summer reading program for kids. Kids can stop by the library and sign up any time from June 22 on. There is a special package they will give you. There will also be draws for some really awesome prizes. Check it out!
We really enjoyed the puppet show! IT was great!
