Favourite things about Kindergarten

I got to see these 4 Kinders at our meeting this afternoon! Always nice to see their smiling faces!!  They said they miss seeing their friends at school, and I have to agree. I miss them all, too!!


For one of our online Seesaw assignments last week,
I asked all of my students to send me a video of them telling me about some of their favourite things that they liked to do at school this past year. Unfortunately I didn't get a response from everyone, but the ones who did respond, had a lot of great thoughts that they shared. Here is what they had to say....

-I liked building something that I didn't know I could build.
-I liked doing something that I didn't know I could do.
-I liked playing with my friends at recess.
-Mrs. Grant is teaching me how to read and how to be nice and how to make letters.
-I like to do things for my friends... like give them pictures I draw.
-I liked centres.
-I liked job time.
-I liked sitting on the carpet for storytime.
-I liked being the Star of the Week.
-I liked doing the bus thing.
-I liked playing outside.
-I liked playing with blocks.
-I liked playing with everybody.
-I liked centre time.
-I liked recess.

Class meeting

We had 6 kids join in our class meeting today (one didn't turn on his camera). So nice to see these kiddos!  We did "Sharing Time" (speaking and listening), and a math activity with our fingers and our white boards, then a writing activity! Of course we sang our Good-Bye song at the end!  These kids make me smile!  I miss them all!
