Spring Break is here!! and Happy Easter!

We were busy making a special surprise for our families this week. We drew a rabbit, painted the background, and put a special surprise inside the card!!   Happy Easter everyone!

Book Select.. Our school received a whole lot of brand new books... for FREE.... and everyone got to choose 4 new books to take home and read and keep in your home library. (See the note in your child's red folder for more info)

We ended the day DANCING in the gym. Thanks to everyone who sent in donations for the Dance-a-thon. I snapped a few pictures, but they are a little blurry due to the fast moves of the dancers!!

Sports Day today!  Look who dressed in a sporty fashion!

At centre time today, someone wrote a nice note to her friend. I just had to snap a photo of it!

Her Kinder writing says...."Do you want to come to my house Bentley. It will be fun Do you want to have a sleepover at my house"

Yesterday we learned how to draw a bunny. Today we painted the background.
 
Star of the Week
 
Some kids were looking for a real challenge today -- during our printing numbers before and after a given number. I wrote number 88 on the board, and different students wrote the numbers that came "before" and "after" 88. WOW!! They did it!

Circus

The circus came to town... well, actually, we had some of our very own Stevenson circus performers at Stevenson!  The Kinders enjoyed watching the show!
