Chrysanthemum

Mick E. Moose reminded us that we are all special, and everyone is unique! We heard the story  Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes -- which helped teach us this message.

Recess time YOGA..

Today we made another Birthday book. Whenever someone is celebrating a birthday, we read The Birthday Cake by Ron VanderMeer, we sing Happy Birthday (a couple versions), and we each draw a special picture - then put them together to make a special birthday book. Then we read the special book at the end of the day!
The birthday boy brought some cupcakes to share with everyone today!

      Yes, Mick E Moose IS wearing a Jets Jersey! We are surprised that you noticed! We like cheering for the Jets! The birthday boys says "I got presents! I celebrated my birthday at my auntie and uncle's house!".
