Road maps

Today Mrs. Grant brought in a couple huge pieces of cardboard. We decided to draw street maps on them, and the community around it... and then use it to drive the little cars on. Here is what the planning stage looked like, as some kids thought about the design they wanted to make - before starting their drawings on the cardboard.
   
Today we had a guest reader! One of our student's mom came in and read a couple books to our class. The boys and girls couldn't decide on which story they liked best - because they were both great books that she read to us!  Thank you very much to Laura, Remy's mom, for taking time to come read to our class. We look forward to having you come back another day!
