Wear a Word

Today was "Wear a Word" day. These are the kids from our class who wore "words" on their clothing!

We did an activity today to practice identifying numbers from 1-20. Mrs. Grant gave us clues, and we had to figure out which number she was talking about, and then colour that snowflake number. For example, here are some of the questions... 

• "What number comes between 10 and 12?
• "Mrs. Grant baked some cookies. She put 10 cookies on one plate, and put 3 cookies onto another plate. How many cookies did she have all together." 
• "I had a bowl of 10 candies, and I ate one. How many candies are left?"
• "In our room, there are 4 kids at this table and 4 kids at that table. How many kids all together at those 2 tables?"
• "5 kids were playing outside. 2 kids got cold and went inside. How many were left playing outside?"

All of my challenging questions were answered correctly!
