Today was Global Play Day. We spent most of the day playing with toys/games/puzzles/etc. that we brought from home, as well as playing at centres in our room! We had one family join us for a while this morning. Thank you!
This afternoon, some kids from Room 12 (Grade 1/2) came to play with us for a while, too! (If you have been following this blog for a few years (like my Auntie:)) you may even recognize a few kids that were in Room 7 the past couple years!)
Indoor recess this morning... so we practiced some dance moves to keep us moving!
We did an activity this morning that had us hold a thumb tack, and punch holes into the dots on the snowman paper. This activity helps strengthen the muscles in little fingers... and we had to hold it with 2 fingers (the same as a pencil)
and we can't forget... SHARING TIME.
I did recognize some of the students from the past years. They sure have grown. Wasn't it fun to have them back in room 7? What a fun day! Mrs. Grant's auntie is enjoying your blog.

Thanks for letting us visit yesterday - we had a great time playing and meeting everyone! I was very impressed with how well-behaved everyone was and how nicely they cleaned up after themselves, too.
