"Before you speak, Think and be Smart, It is hard to fix a wrinkled heart!"
We talked about what this means --- for our pink heart paper, AND for the words we speak to others! Let's speak kind and respectful words! We can't put unkind words back into our mouth - and we don't want to hurt anyone with the words we speak!
Here is everyone scrunching up their heart paper!! Oh NO!!!
It was SO hard, and impossible! -- to straighten out the paper and get the wrinkles out!!!
Making a Valentine mailbox....Getting ready for tomorrow!
Storytime..... We have a visitor in our room for today and tomorrow. Her name is Mrs. Wells. She has 2 daughters -- who used to be in Room 7 when they were in Kindergarten!! Now Mrs. Wells is taking an Early Childhood Education course at Red River Community College, and as part of one of her classes, she is volunteering in our room for a couple days. She read us a couple Valentine stories today.
Sharing Time
We are looking for parents/grandparents/guardians to read a story to our class for I LOVE TO READ month. If you are interested, please let me know what day you can come. Thanks!!
