Today was our second day for a visit from artist Lynne Mulvihill. We integrated art (using things that are found on trees or come from trees) with literacy (the alphabet). Each of us used glue to attach some material to a letter of the alphabet. By the time we were done, we had the whole alphabet -- in uppercase letters!

Our "Star of the Week" told us all about herself yesterday. We liked looking at her photos, too. Today we read one of her favourite stories by Robert Munsch. We also did a shared writing activity and wrote a story about her! |
What a GREAT job you all did on the ABC's !!! You should be so proud.

I love the alphabet that you all created together. I wish I could have come to class to hear Tayanna's favorite story. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!! Tayanna's Grandma Betker
ReplyDeleteThe alphabet looks like a great addition to Room 7!
