This little fellow was busy making numbers out of blocks!
Today we were reading a story, and on this page, one little girl commented on how this was how we spelled the number "two" word on this page, NOT the "to" that we usually see in books.
We did a word puzzle, by matching the words and putting them in order to spell the lines in the poem "A Chubby Snowman".

Yesterday was the Kindergarten Open House. I guess I was so busy thinking about this, that I totally forgot to post these pictures of our day in Kindergarten for Tuesday. So here you go-- pictures from yesterday!!
These kids were busy printing numbers on the white board... up to and past 100!
This was a counting activity, and matching the correct number of snowflakes to the number on the mitten.
We were practicing reading our little books to a partner.
This was our snowflake activity- recognizing numbers 1-20!! Question.... "If I ate 2 jellybeans, and then I ate 4 more, how many did I eat?" --- Now find and colour the number 6.

That young fellow worked so hard putting the block numbers together he was ready for a nap. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThat's AWESOME that you wrote the numbers past 100 on the white board. By next week you will be writing up to 200. :-) I'm cheering for you in Texas
Hi! Thank you for the nice compliments! You were right - that boy who made the numbers said he was ready for a nap because he worked so hard! The kids who wrote the numbers to 100 said they DID work very hard to do that! They already know how to go up to 109!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! From Room 7
