This is what we know about the number 8!

It took 2 girls and 2 dice to make 8 dots. And the kids with dominoes found 2 different ways to count 8 dots on dominoes 

She created a pattern...
 
... and this person circled the core of the pattern. (AABB). Then we created actions to go with the pattern!
 
These 2 girls thought it was pretty cool how if they put their bananas together it made a circle shape!
 
Playing the "Welcome to Kindergarten" app on the iPads. This is a terrific app that you can download for free and play it at home!

    The Number 8!! In the Chinese culture we love the number 8! It represents good luck and good fortune!

    Did you know that Chinese New Year is just around the corner? in our family we love to celebrate with family, friends and lots of good food!

      Hi! We know lots about the number eight! We didn't know that number 8 represents good luck and good fortune! Happy New Year! Phoenix says her favourite food for Chinese New Year is noodles!
