Tile Discovery

We had some new coloured tiles to check out today --- different sizes, colours, and shapes. Some of us decided to sort, and some of us used our imaginations to create "things"

"5 little pumpkins, sitting on a gate..."
 
"I made a castle".
 
"I made a path...you get across the lava...and balance on this while you cross"
 
"I made a person"
 
"I made a pattern."

"We made an apartment. It is very high."
 
"I made an eight!"
  

We learned a math game today, that used a big deck of cards and number cards, too!

• Early Dismissal day on Tuesday. All students dismissed at 3:10
• School Pictures Order deadline is November 9th
• Remembrance Day service at school on Thursday, Nov. 9th at 11:00 AM. Parents are invited.
• SoundBuster is coming on Thursday. You will need to bring 3 things that start with a /K/ sound
• Inservice Day on Friday, Nov. 10th. No School for kids. Teachers will be working on Report Cards
