REMINDER: Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather every day. And please make sure your child has practiced dressing himself/herself. (ie. know how to put arms in sleeves without someone else holding up jacket, know which is the front of the ski/snow pants, know how to fix sleeves that have been pulled inside out, know how to put boots on your own feet (no laces) and pull your snow pants over top of the boots, know how to get your mittens on your hands, do up own zipper - or at least try to do it up before asking for help, etc.) Also, you may want to consider having your child wear a neck warmer to pull up over their face - instead of a really long scarf.
** By the time most kids start Kindergarten, they will have had a lot of opportunities (hopefully) to dress themselves. Be assured that kids feel a sense of pride and independence when they can do it all by themselves!! Thanks for your support.
Any questions, please ask.

Everyone did an AWESOME job with the Halloween art work. I Enjoy seeing all the fun things you do. Did you have some of that white stuff on the ground today? B-r-r-r Staying warm in Texas.
ReplyDeleteHI. YES! we DID have some white stuff yesterday. We call it SNOW!! Mrs. Grant told us that you don't get snow in Texas. Julia wondered if you have snow at Christmas time? Mrs. Grant said "NO" . We are so surprised that you don't have snow at all. Rylan asks "Does Santa still come?" Bentley wonders if there are any kids in Texas?
