Library Day

Today was our first visit to our school Library. Mr. Wesselius, our Librarian, started by reading the whole class a story. They we got to choose a book to bring home for a few days. Please read it to your child and return it before the next library day.  Every Day 2 will be our library day. Students must return their library book in order to be allowed to sign out a new one each Day 2. Thanks!  
      
Today our job was to draw a picture of ourselves. Everyone was reminded to include the basic body parts in their drawing. 
       
Has your child had his/her eyes checked by an optometrist?  Eye exams are free for children under 18!!  All K students should have received a form to take to the optometrist - which included one copy to be returned to the school. (Thank you to those that have already returned the form). If your child hasn't had his/her eyes check, please book an appointment with any optometrist. IT's FREE!
