Public Library

Today we walked to the Public Library in our neighbourhood. The Librarian told us all about the library, read us a book, told us a flannel board story about a great big turnip, and did a puppet show about an Elephant and Piggy story. Our class LOVES elephant and piggy books, so they really enjoyed the puppet show!!  Afterwards, we got to spend some time exploring the children's section of the library!

Students will be bringing home some information tomorrow about our library visit....including an application form to get a free Winnipeg Public Library card. Ask your child to tell you all about the visit, and the different kind of things that can be borrowed at the library!!
