Library Day

Some of us tried a dice game today. We had to roll one die, identify how many dots were on the die, then find a picture of a die on our paper with the matching number of dots - then place a bingo chip on it.  (Being able to "know" or identify how many dots are on the die without actually counting them is called "subitize".)  Some kids were already able to do this!  Board games that use dice help reinforce this skill. Try it at home!

Today was our first Library Class. We will have library every Day 1. Please read the library book to your child, and ensure that it is returned by next Day 1. Please also see the note from the librarian.
