Every morning we have someone be our special helper and line leader. That person gets to lead the rest of the class in an energetic cheer!
This is where the Kindergarten kids eat lunch!
Everyone loves recess time! We have been practicing playing outside with only both of the Kindergarten classes for the past 5 days. We have to play safely on the structure, do not throw rocks, no rough play, remember to go and line up when recess is over, and most importantly.... have fun!! Tomorrow we are going to join the rest of the school at the regular recess time.
Today we read the story We Share Everything by Robert Munsch. Then we brainstormed things that we should and should not share at school. These are some of the things we came up with....
SHARE: toys, books, crayons,
DON"T SHARE: snacks/lunch, germs, coughs, sneezes, colds, germs from not washing our hands after using the bathroom.. YUCK!!!!! (We talked about how to cover a cough and sneeze, and washing your hands after using the bathroom! Please encourage these behaviours at home, too.)
