Over the past several days, we have been talking about how we can fill up other peoples' buckets.... and how we DON'T want to dip into them. We are, of course, talking about the invisible bucket that each and every person has. We have read the books How Full is your Bucket, by T. Rath & M. Reckmeyer and Have you Filled a Bucket Today by C. McCloud.
Parents, Ask your child to tell you what he/she has learned. :)
We brainstormed different ways that we could fill buckets. Here are some of our ideas....
We also practiced giving compliments to our classmates. There were lots of smiles and thanks being passed around. We also showed Mrs. Grant our best smile.... and it warmed her heart to hear so many kind words and see so many smiles. :) Our buckets were pretty full after all these activities!
Sharing time... something that starts with a /b/ sound
