Our "5 little pumpkins" activity on display on our hallway bulletin board. (the activity where we had to cut out, and then sequence, the pumpkins in order of size.)
We read this story today. "I Like Pumpkins" by Jerry Smath. Then we brainstormed other words we could use to describe pumpkins and we chose a few of the words to put into a class poem. After that, we each wrote our own little pumpkin poem by using the descriptive words.
... teamwork goes a long way when you are putting together a pumpkin puzzle.... great job, boys!
All of those pumpkins look fantastic! Five Little Pumpkins is one of our favorite Halloween poems.

HI ! Our pumpkins are not real! We just painted them. We mixed red and yellow paint to make orange paint.
