Monday news
Some kids participated in smudging this morning. Everyone had fun playing in the wet snow today at recess. We made a birthday book for one of our classmates who is celebrating his 6th Birthday today. We shared our "Weekend News" with everyone, then wrote a story and drew a picture of our news. We responded to the comments on our blog. Centre time is always fun!
Just a reminder to please keep your child at home if they are ill... even if it is just a "little" ill. Thanks!

Tap Dancing
Today was our first Tap Dance Lesson with Mrs. Kaczmarz (who teaches a Grade 3/4/5 class). She is also going to teach the Kinder classes tap dancing once a school cycle for the next several weeks. Everyone had lots of fun dancing and hearing their shoes make noise!

Everyone should have electronically received their child's report card a couple days ago. If you didn't receive that email, please contact the school next week.
Reminder to check the forecast every day and make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the weather.

Today we used the iPad to practice correct letter and number formation. We used the "Writing Wizard" app. Some of us used our finger as the writing tool, and some of us tried a stylus pen.
