Star of the Week

We had a new Star of the Week present today!

.. and one of our classmates read us a book today!..
The new Perfection game was lots of fun!

Glitter Bug

How well do you wash your hands? 
Can you see all the germs on your hands? 
Should you wash your hands before you eat even when they already look clean to you?  ...... These were all questions we talked about today. Even when we thought our hands looked clean, we put them under the special glitter bug light, and saw the "germs!".  Then we washed our hands, put them under the Glitter Bug's special light, and some poeple noticed that they had not done a great job at washing their hands. (oops!) Go back and wash again!








We did an experiment with milk and food colouring, and watched the colours mix!

Detective work

Shopping time! and Welcome to our new shopper!  We have a new student in our class.... which brings us up to 9 girls and 7 boys for a total of 16 kids in Room 7!
  
Someone is excited about the mouse he created out of the paper that started out with blue and yellow paint and got mixed into green!
 
You just never know where you might find a hidden word when you are being a word detective and looking for words around the room!

Grocery Store

Our Grocery Store opened today!!!   We had shoppers, store clerks, workers to bag the groceries, and more!   And don't forget to bring your reusable bags to the store!
 
...and you should make a grocery list so you know what you need to buy when you get to the store!

Painted hands?

Our Star of the Week did a great job telling us all about himself today!

We did some more colour mixing, but today we used our hands!!! Each student picked 2 of the primary colours, then rubbed their hands together and... created a secondary colour!
