Our spy hair grew like crazy over the long weekend. So today some of the kids decided to give their "grass hair" a hair cut!

The Very Hungry Caterpillars...

This morning we were very excited to find a colourful box with a mission in it for us. It involved caterpillars! We think we know what will happen because last week we read the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, br Eric Carle. Today we watched a short video about the book. We are excited to watch the caterpillars grow and turn into butterflies!

ooops.... this should read "to take good CARE of these caterpillars..."

Today we had library.....

Humpty Dumpty

 Who knows the story of Humpty Dumpty?  (Not everyone in Room 7 was familiar with it before today.)

Each table group worked together to design and build some type of structure with a wall/bridge to hold their "Humpty" egg.

Mrs. Macdonell taught us some ways to relax. Thanks to Nicolai and Sebastian's mom for donating the balls to our class.

Ms. Janz stopped by for a visit. She brought her now 3 month old baby Cadia for a visit.

Buddy time

Today we got to spend the last period with our Grade 4/5 buddies. They read to us, some of us read to our buddies, we found some things in our spy books, and enjoyed spending time with our older friends.

Don't Cry Wolf!

Today we read this book. It provided us with a lot of discussion. Parents: Ask your child what he/she learned from this book.
